Up until the summer of 2008, K-Line operated one the largest Wireless Internet Service Providers in Eastern Canada, Aernet Wireless. Utilizing advanced broadband wireless technologies, Aernet delivered residential and business internet services throughout New Brunswick. Founded in 2003, Aernet had the most extensive fixed broadband wireless network in Atlantic Canada. In 2005 Aernet was recognized as one of the most innovative companies in New Brunswick by Business NB, a Provincial economic development agency.

Anticipating a change in the competitive landscape, K-Line sold Aernet in July 2008 to Barrett Xplore who operate Xplornet, Canada's largest wireless ISP. K-Line did however maintain the key people necessary to continue to deliver innovative wireless solutions to business.
